Noise abatement at a mineral extraction site

On a mineral extraction site classified as an ICPE, several sources of noise generate nuisances that can impact local residents. These generally include industrial process equipment such as crushers, screens and mills, as well as ventilation and dust collection systems.

In line with the expectations of the DREAL and the site’s acceptability to the surrounding area, the QHSE manager of an extraction quarry called on AXILAB to achieve regulatory compliance in terms of noise.
